Becomming
a Darlington Champion is easy and we have a dedicated team ready to help you
with any questions about the programme. You can be confident that 100% of
our grants will be made in Darlington and information on the people you have
helped is available every step of the way.
Giving just £10 a month can make an important difference. The average
household spends £25 a month on CDs and magazines - just think what
else you could do with this money. By donating part of it to Darlington Champions
you could turn it into:
• Trees and plants for a community garden
• Food and bedding for a homeless shelter
• A day away for a disabled person and their carer
• Paint and building materials to restore a community building
• Toys for a toddlers group
• Kitchen equipment for an over 60s luncheon club
• Community healthy living workshops
