Three new Darlington
Champions!
We are delighted to announce the
arrival of three new Darlington Champions! Glenwood Paint
Supplies, Railway Housing and Benefit Fund and Ada Burns,
chief executive of Darlington Borough Council, have all joined
as Bronze Champions to help improve the lives of local people
in Darlington.
As Bronze Champions they were given
the option to support one of the following areas:
Children and young
people
Elderly
People
Community
regeneration
Education, training
and skills development
General community
support.

Record
breaking year for
Darlington Champions
Thanks to all your support Darlington
Champions is celebrating a recording breaking year. More than
£250,000 has been spent on good causes over the last financial
year to boost community projects in the town.
A total of 35 groups have benefited
thanks to your generosity; groups such as the Central
Community Partnership who were awarded £10,000 to fund an
8-month multi-cultural football project.
However, we aren't ready to rest on
our success; we are determined to make this next year our most
successful year to date. If you share our passion for
